I have found an issue with enabling the mega-menu where for the last 3 main menu tabs (CERTIFICATION to CONTACT), and works for the first four (HOME to COURSES);
HOME | ABOUT | BEGINNERS | COURSES | CERTIFICATION | INFO |CONTACT
When enabling the mega-menu option for the last three tabs, it won’t take any effect upon saving (and shows again the unselected option).
If the tabs are reordered, where the last one with the working mega-menu (ie. COURSES) is placed at the last position (ie. after CONTACT) all main menu tabs will allow a mega menu. After further inspection, COURSES (which has quite some sub-menu pages) is blocking further following tabs from having a mega-menu.
Is this a known issue? Or are there any ways around this without having to change the order to the main-menu tabs?
Its a restriction applied by your Web hosting company.
The problem is down to a server setting called max_input_vars. This setting is described as “How many GET/POST/COOKIE input variables may be accepted [by your server]”. The default value is 1000.
